Preliminary, definitive and executive structural and geotechnical design
The project involves the complete renovation of this famous sports facility, the historic site of one of the most important international youth football tournaments. The intervention will allow for the recovery of a significant resource for the city of Viareggio, returning to the community a stadium with a total of 2,500 seats. The two stands will undergo different interventions. The existing west stand will be seismically retrofitted through a series of works, among which the system of dissipative bracing for horizontal forces stands out. The east stand will instead be demolished and rebuilt in prefabricated reinforced concrete, and it has been designed to accommodate a roof in the future, further enhancing the comfort of spectators.
