This stadium, winner of the international design competition, was conceived to replace the old Qemal Stafa Stadium in Tirana. Located in the south of the Albanian capital, in a historic area of the city, this structure is configured as a multifunctional complex, with a built area of 43,000 square meters, ready to host offices and commercial activities as well as 22,000 seats for sporting events (it was designed as a UEFA category 4 stadium). The work has been configured in such a way as to become part of the social fabric of the city and be used as a public building open to the city throughout the year. The most characterizing element is certainly the 73 m high tower, which allows a panoramic view of the city, and houses a restaurant and lounge areas.
