Feasibility, preliminary and definitive structural and geotechnical design
In the prestigious context of the Monza International Circuit, home of the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix, it is planned the dismantling and reconstruction of grandstands 6A, 6B, and 6C, strategically positioned at the end of the track straight. Located within Monza Park, a protected area subject to strict landscape and monumental constraints, the circuit requires architectural and structural solutions that respect the environmental context. For this reason, the grandstands have been designed with a character of complete reversibility, with a structure that can be entirely dismantled, including foundations. The grandstands are primarily designed in metalwork, with small exceptions in prefabricated reinforced concrete, and feature an elegant roof with an overhang that exceeds sixteen meters, reminiscent of the iconic shape of the rear wing of the Ferrari 312/67. This prestigious project is a tribute to the great history of Italian automotive engineering.
